Bio

Ms. Pillai has a work history as diverse as only few can show. Her 22 years of teaching career spans from yoga, banking, tourism, hospitality, dentistry to airline. After completing her Bachelors in English Literature and obtaining a Master’s in Yoga, she worked for American Express and flew as a flight attendant for Gulf Air around the world.

After coming to Canada, she worked for Bell and HSBC Bank, Canada.

She completed her CDA course in 2013 and started teaching Radiology and Biomaterials at a private Dental Hygiene College. From 2015 to 2020 she served as Vice Chair in the certification committee in the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia.

She received a Diploma in Adult Education (PIDP) from Vancouver Community College then started teaching Tourism and Hospitality and became a faculty member at the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI).

In 2019 she successfully completed the “Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures” program at UBC. This led her to start her own consultancy as a “Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant” in 2020. Since then, she has helped hundreds of students with their immigration and represented successfully countless immigration cases with many of them becoming Permanent Residents in Canada.

With all her practical experience she still passionately enjoys teaching while flying around the world for Air Canada.
