The Certificate in Hospitality Operations with Co-op is a 6-month program for students to have the necessary knowledge and skills needed to be successful in the hospitality and tourism industry.
Program Description
The Certificate in Customer Service Excellence Co-op Program aims to focus on the latest development in the hospitality industry. It will help the students to identify and understand the techniques and theory needed in modern hospitality and tourism environment. Students are given emphasis on developing competencies such as effective communication skills, solid customer service skills, leadership, teamwork, and other relevant topics related to the industry.

PTIB Program Approval
*The Diploma in Business Administration with Co-op program name is currently being reviewed by PTIB to be changed to Business Administration with Co-op. This program is reviewed and approved by the registrar of the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.
By the time you complete the diploma program, you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of the Customer Service Excellence; effectively communicate and manage time in a workplace; evaluate the appropriate etiquette; evaluate the implications of key legislation and regulatory requirements and much more.

Work Experience Policy
1. The work experience is a required part of Hospitality Operations with Co-op (HTCC) program in which the student obtains practical skills relevant to the learning objectives of the program.
The Canadian College of Technology and Business work experience programs allow students the opportunity to combine their strong technical and business knowledge, obtain through the academic journey, with practical skills developed through work experience. The work experience component is a scheduled academic activity in which a student is placed with an organization where their level of skills and experience will be valuable to both the placement host and the student.
