Program Description:

This one-year program is ideal for those looking to become familiar with all aspects of cybersecurity, such as blockchain, big data and the IoT (Internet of Things). This program is powered by CompTIA, giving students the knowledge to build a solid foundation towards the Security+ certification.

Students will gain the ability to anticipate information security risks, implement new ways to protect networks and prevent cyberattacks of various types. Through lab activities and cutting-edge tools, students will build the professional skills required to pursue a career in cybersecurity.

The practicum work experience component constitutes 120 training hours. This segment offers you the chance to put into practice the skills you've recently acquired in a real-world setting within the industry.

Course Previews:

This program is designed for individuals keen to begin their career as a Cybersecurity professional. This diploma will set you on the right path. Develop your IT skills to enter this dynamic and opportunity-filled sector.

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the cyber world, equipping learners with foundational knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape. Through this course, students will gain an in-depth understanding of cyber-attacks, the intricacies of the darknet, the motivations driving hackers and a range of advanced technologies prevalent in the field.

This course covers a broad range of topics essential for a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity. Students will delve into various types of scans, including those used for networks, websites and computer systems, to identify vulnerabilities susceptible to attacks. The course also explores weaknesses in information security across hardware, software and infrastructure. Additionally, students will learn about data and cyber protection technologies and tools commonly used within the industry.

This course will focus on the technology of cryptography and the available techniques, limitations and problems commonly encountered. It covers the theory and application of methods available to secure information, computers and networks, as well as legal issues involved with cryptography.

This course provides a thorough examination of computer networks, basic concepts in data communications and the seven-layer model. Students will gain practical experience working with Windows Server 2019, covering topics like remote and direct access, and virtual private networks (VPNs).

This course delves into advanced computer communication topics, including monitoring and analyzing network traffic. It also covers operating systems, with a focus on Linux and Windows and explores data archive management and development, including Structured Query Language (SQL) and mobile cybersecurity.

This course introduces students to web programming technologies, focusing on basic HTML development. Additionally, students will learn to create custom scripts using the Python programming language, exploring advanced programming concepts along the way.

This course is structured to equip learners with fundamental skills necessary to conduct and construct a penetration testing infrastructure. This includes proficiency in assembling all the requisite software, network infrastructure and tools needed to effectively execute a penetration test.

This course provides strategies for managing and coordinating a multiplayer cyber event effectively. It covers the roles of various entities such as security operations centers (SOCs), network operations centers (NOCs), internet service providers (ISPs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs). Additionally, it emphasizes communication strategies as a crucial tool for crisis management and prevention during cyber-attacks.

Admission Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an approved government institution of applicant’s home country, or applicant is minimum 19 years of age 
  • Good command of English language IELTS 5.5 or equivalent outlined below 
  • Students are required to have and use their own personal computer in class 

Language proficiency requirements are admission requirements and may not be waived by either the institution or the student.
